Squash

Dear Parents and DSJ Squash Players,

Due to time constraints Thomas Helmrich can no longer continue to assist with the Squash AG. We thank him for his efforts over the past year.

Training:
With effect from the second term, I have taken over and trust the group of 20 to 25 squash players is having fun.  With the help of our coach Devan Currie, from the University of Johannesburg, we are going to improve our skills and technique. Our gratitude goes to Mr Jan van Wyk, our Deputy Principal, who allowed Mr Currie to help us.

Teams:
After numerous player challenges, our teams that have been entered into the squash league, are currently made up as follows:

BOYS UNDER 15 SUPER LEAGUE:
Dino Leidenberg
Alex Scriba
Luca Leidenberg
Tomislav Popov
Anthony Ryan

BOYS UNDER 14 B LEAGUE:
Dustin Heinermann
Phillip Trummer
Armaan Maharaj
John Ratcliffe

Well done to those who have qualified for the teams. Good luck with your matches. Please diarize the following MONDAYS, as THERE WILL BE NO FURTHER REMINDERS by email. I will only remind players on the Friday before the matches.

Anyone who wants to join the teams can challenge in his age group. Challenges for ranking within the teams are also encouraged. Click on the link for a Challenge Sheet:
